The art of Tricking your Palette...
These guys are amazing! I urge you to watch this interesting video if you would like to find out how these two chefs are changing food technology right before our very eyes. The video is engaging and powerful because it makes you really think about how we as consumers view food. They have taken our "taste buds" to the next level and have been successful at it. The video demonstrates how you can change perception, and your taste buds of your favorite foods. It's also great how they aim to save the environment by changing what we eat, without changing the taste of it. They are health and animal conscious which makes this video one on my list for education.
I chose this video because I am intrigued with food preparation, recipes, and cooking in general. Also, it relates to healthy eating and food creativity. I am very interested in anything that has to do with food. I feel I can share this video with my current physical education students. It would be a great "eye opener" to see the transformation of food preparation and the technology and science behind it.
This type of collaboration matches my perspective about online education because I now have the ability to share this video and many more with fellow classmates, my students, my family and my entire social network. It is the ability to reach so many people with a simple click. I am motivated to possibly start a blog where my students can engage and interact with me and others online. It would be great to also have them share their videos, thoughts and ideas about education and the internet.
It is becoming more clear why so many people and students have started their own blogs worldwide.
